This picture is a data file of about 30megs which is titled "Zero Sum". The elements of this image are cheap wood and plastic souvenirs representing tomahawks and peace pipes made by Cherokee Indians, an open air junk market and text. As a note to the picture...it is an echo of a common and valid complaint. I have become jaded and faintly paranoid about the value and truth of what I am told through our popular press. It's messages are so pervasive in our lives that we effectively "breathe" media messages in and out of our heads as thoughtlessly as when we consume air. We seem to have become dependent on this stuff, its negativity and its cheap, simplistic range of expression..
