The vase and flowers are so typical of that house - it seemed important to not forget that and so I photographed them. Everywhere there were little tableaux to be discovered that were harmonious in shape, colour and form - that looked casual but were not. These arrangements were never subverted by obvious clues pointing to their constructed nature, but I never doubted for a moment that they were carefully organized and intended to be seen.
